Leon is a seasoned consultant with 13 years of experience in assurance, consulting and risk advisory across several sectors. He has held various roles in his career, consulting in different countries such as Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya, Ghana and the United Kingdom and is equally comfortable to perform audit engagements, manage staff and operate at strategic levels. He specialised in controls related to financial services payments processing and has been a standing member of annual panelists presenting to post graduate students at the University of Johannesburg on industry related topics including King codes, audit and technology developments, cyber risks and data analytics.

Project and Portfolio Management & Information Technology

Vongani is a professional Senior Project & Programme Manager with 15 years of experience in the IT industry consulting and specializing in system implementations and digital products. Vongani is currently consulting as a specialist conducting market research, creating business cases, and managing development teams to achieve the desired results. Prior to this, he played the role of a Senior Project Manager at a major telecommunications company overseeing the delivery of mobile and online applications. He also consulted as a Senior Project Manager at one of the big banks where he successfully delivered one of the top priority projects in the organisation with his teams across South Africa, India, the U.K and 10 African countries. Other previous engagements include projects delivering value to clients in digital platforms, payments, self-service solutions and financial crime within the Africa diaspora.

Morena Nicholas Makate

Information Technology - Solution Architecture

Morena is a versatile Information Technology consultant with a strong background in architecture. He enjoys being a solution architect as this gives him the exposure to complex migrations to cloud, technology upgrades, architecture changes which enables any business to work more efficiently and cost effectively. In his current role, Morena is instrumental in ensuring adherence to international standards and frameworks, responsible for overseeing architecture for MS, WAS, mainframe, on premise, cloud hosted applications. This has further allowed him to focus on fit for purpose, compliant, security and costs efficient solution according to client requirements.

Morena has C# development training and Microsoft Developer certification. He has exposure developing web applications using ASP .Net and database design and development using SQL server.

As an SME, for creating blueprints and optimizing the opted solution, Morena designs solutions in response to business needs from enhancements through to new solutions. He is able to do so from the strong educational background supported through:
